Any Macro or Birding pics?

Heard that the E-3 have pretty good AF. Anyone knows if there are pics of birds-in-flight taken with E-3 online?

I guess that the 2x FOV would give slight advantage in DOF for Macros. Any pics links?

In the stickies, you will see quite a number of images shot by member "NatureTTL" for macros.

As for in flights pictures, I don't have them but there are a number of macro in flight (bees) shot by drakon09 with his 70-300.

I've got a few bird shots if you wanna see.. All taken with a Zuiko Digital 40-150mm (80-300mm). Pardon the border, taken from my APAD thread previously. I believe we have some 70-300mm shots in the Olympus Colours thread.







And this taken by my ZD 14-54mm (28-108mm).

Of course the 70-300mm is a f4 - 5.6 consumer grade lens, and does not demonstrate the true potential of the E-3's AF.

Let me get my hands on a 50-200mm SWD then we'll see if I can get a good hit rate on dragonflies in flight.

Dorts, I love the first and the last one, especially the last one is very nice IMO. The other two are a bit OOF, or soft, whichever.

Anyway, the last one is a winner. Thanks for sharing it.

Just more info on the bee shot. Was at 54mm. With on-board flash!
