I see.. This is a wonderful lens indeed. I have tried out this lens in a camera shop recently. Although it was spec to be used on APS-C sensor only ( x1.5 or x1.6 camera ), you can actually mount it on full frame camera as well ( EF mount ).

The best thing is that... You can use this lens on x1.3 factor camera with only slight vignetting !!! That is super wide !!!

check out the EXIF info for the shot details...

wa 11-18 on a FF ma-chiam almost fisheye liao. Haha. Vignetting is usually an issue with UWA lens but nvm can always crop =)

not FF, it is a x1.3 factor camera... hence it is equivalent to about 14-23mm... still, it is very very wide... best thing is that it is 77mm filter size , not like the Sigma 12-24mm which cannot mount filter in front..

I don't get what you are asking ... basically, price of a lens has nothing to do with the range ( zoom range ) which a lens can perform. Infact, the truth is that those lens which has lesser zoom range , normally cost more..

It is more of a branding, sharpness, color reproduction that matters, no so much of a range matter. hope I have answered your question.
