SINGAPORE: Heavy rain resulted in flooding in several low-lying areas of Singapore on Tuesday.
In just less than two hours, rainfall recorded was about 30 percent of the average for the whole of January.
For Goodwood Florist along Thomson Road, it was a familiar story. Although the area has often experienced flooding, it was not so bad this time round.
The flooding was about ankle-length, and vehicles were not too affected by flood waters.
Callers to Channel NewsAsia's hotline also reported flooding in Tanjong Katong and Bishan, while Channel NewsAsia's skycam cameras caught views of vehicles stuck in flood waters at Mountbatten Road. - CNA/ir
