Just wondering which lens should i go for ? I have tried canon 75-300 USM focussing spped quite fast but pic quality is so so. Will Sigma be sharper and when fitted to Canon 350D, will the focusing spped be as fast as Canon USM? I dun mind the sound though.

I had used Sigma 70-300 APO and Canon 75-300 before, but I found both lens were too slow for my sports shooting. Currently, I am using Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM Lens, I found it much faster (with two focusing range) and sharp when wide open. Please refer to the review below for more detail.
