BTW, the pic with the big lens & camera mounted on the tripod, what lens is that?

very well taken and pin sharp... the baby penguin falling with the rest looking on is superb!!

Most cams can. I guess it's just to say that D300 is actually proven to survive.

Well, the title says extreme temperature, and the article indicated -20degC; not that extreme for Antartica methinks... probably good weather

actually, was hoping nikon will make the D400 a smaller camera. D300 kinda big in the built.

To be exact, 4 degrees warmer. Still very cold, I think.

His photos are pretty nice. I like the shot of the camera with only the top and "Nikon" in frame. Somehow gives a difference feel with the lack of grass.
