Hope the switch is there. Quite cumbersom to be shooting a picture under tungsten WB and then having to fiddle with the menu when I want to take a shot with flash...a button that will toggle directly will definitely help!

Even on K10D you can do this by a turn of the main dial (on the top left) There is a user setting which you can set to whatever you like for your default settings, including WB to your like

Looks like the K20D will be my new camera and the K10D will be my backup camera.

    i quote the online photographer:

The new K20D (I've requested a sample to test) has a shot-to-shot rate of 3 FPS. This has brought it under clangorous criticism on some forum boards, from people who were "waiting" for "improvement" in this area.

I sometimes wonder what these people are shooting. I've had a rich 35-year history as a committed amateur photographer with intermittent stints as a professional, and I don't think I've ever wanted or needed a "motor drive." I used my first "serious" camera, a Contax 139Q, with a motor winder that enabled a blistering almost-2 FPS (I think the real speed was 1.8 FPS), but even then all I really cared about was that the camera was automatically ready for the next shot. That was just a luxury, however (or laziness)—old-fashioned thumb-wind was fine. I do think I'd occasionally be frustrated by a digital camera that shot 1 FPS, but I can't imagine ever being dissatisfied with 3 FPS.

    Where do you stand?

PMA: Pentax chiefs hold talks on price of K20D camera
    Friday 1st February 2008
    Chris Cheesman

Pentax's European and Japanese top brass have held talks to discuss the price of the firm's soon-to-be-launched K20D digital SLR, after Samsung announced its similar, much cheaper, GX-20 camera.

The talks, which took place at the PMA show in Las Vegas on 31 January, were held 'to sort out the interesting situation with the [K20D] price', according to a Pentax UK spokesman.

The spokesman would not reveal details of the discussions, telling us to expect an announcement on this matter before the camera's expected launch in March.

When announced on 24 January Pentax stated that the 14.6-million-pixel K20D will cost 999.99 with an 18-55mm lens. The Samsung GX-20 also featuring a 14.6MP CMOS imaging sensor will debut at 699.99 with an 18-55mm lens that's 300 less. The Samsung model is also due to be available in March.

The cameras are the result of the continuing joint venture between the two companies, who set their prices independently.
So, could there be a possibility a price reduce for K20D?

Smart move by Samsung to capture the market share

Afterall, consumer would be the one who benefit.
    Let's get rolling :)

Looks kinda small for a 2.8.( Mean it in a good way). But then, I have never own a 200 f2.8 before. Was the FA200 bigger than this?

They are the same size. The FA* 200 is slightly lighter.
