D3 + 14~24f2.8 + 24~70f2.8 + 70~200f2.8
D300 + 12~24f4 + 17~55f2.8 + 70~200f2.8 some lenses nice to have 60 micro, 85f1.4, 105VR micro, 105f2 DC, 180f2.8 etc.. |

It is important to know: - what is your budget? - how do you take your photo? (e.g. tripod shot of landscape vs walkaround candid shots) - how much weight you would like to carry? (2-3 lens of 500g each or 5-6 lens 1kg each) It is no point to talk about what is the best lens because one man's meat can be the other man's poison.

these are some of the best lenses Nikon ever made, put together will be the best lenses combination.
Since TS never mention about budget, so consider budget it is not an issue. |
