D80 bulb mode question

Is there a way to show the exposure timing on D80 under bulb mode or do I need to do my own time keeping?

You'd need to do your own time-keeping. Just keep a watch next to you.

it does cost over $200 so a watch might still be the best option
the exposure time does show after uve taken the shot instead of just 'blub'

just remember tt 30" for the cam is actually 32" etc.

Or you can just count yourself.. for a 30s exposure, one stop under is 15s away and 1 stop over is 30s away.
