I would send the 8 x 10 for drum scanning. Accurate colours and no messy fluid.

If you send to the lab, you don't have to play with the fluid. You get back your slides clean and dry.

most drum scanners do wet scans... the labs in singapore, or those that i know at least, mainly do wet scanning. your negs and chromes are dry because the scanning liquid has to be cleaned off almost immediately after the scan is done. actually, if you DO know of a lab that drums dry, do let me know. thank you! |

Drum scan is always with fluid, never dry.
Kex uses Imacon, just as good.
