D70s viewfinder dust

Hi all!

I'm just curious if the viewfinder on the D70s can be cleaned on the inside...

I'm in the process of getting a 2nd-hand D70s and i noticed that the viewfinder has a circular black ring of dirt or dust.

Apparently the dust is on the inside of the viewfinder but the owner told me that he can't do much about it... Is there anyway to rectify this problem?

My D70 also have dust inside the viewfinder and i'm also unable to remove them. I believe it's trapped under the focusing screen. Although it's a little distracting, photos taken are not affected in any way.

i had dust in the viewfinder and dust on the sensor before.. brought it to NSC when still under warranty.. took all of 15mins for their technicians to remove it. good as new.. they might or might not charge for a non warrantied model.. coz they did not check my warranty haha

Take them to NSC they will advise you if needed send in for clean there will be a service charge. But some get FOC.
