Roads were actually cleared and reopened at around 10.30pm along little india.

Not good. 5 people clustered at the side, talking, chatting on the phone... Even at the temple.. Like 20 police, standing there give wrong info.. End up alot of ang moh got lost.

chatting or communicating on their walkie talkie? i guess there is a difference? we probably didn't know. they may be actually doing their job.
and what wrong information did they give actually? can you elaborate?

p.s. i'm neither a policeman nor from any law enforcing related jobs

eh.... i think you got it wrong. i'm not questioning why i have to take off my shoes and i dun think i implied so. i'm asking at which point should the shoes be taken off. before the gate, at the gate, in the court or just before the temple.

Paiseh about that. Was very sleepy when I read. I suppose we are supposed to take it off when the asphalt road ends?

There should be a mini Thaipusam at Canbbera Road Indian Temple one month after ths main one. Not sure where exactly is the temple now. Should be around the same location as it was when the place is still kampong.
