Many youth in developed world nowadays are so selfish! Some don't even want to share the table with you even when the whole place is full!
Ok I'm new to all this having been away from Singapore in such a long time, but... what exactly is going on?
I would've thought schools/polys/unis would all have free wireless internet access by now, and surely most of the country is "wired" up and people can't be that desperate to get hold of the net?
I have a feeling I have a fair few misconceptions here!
this is normal for sporean.
happens at macdonald too.... full with students...study for last minute exam without having a proper macdonald meals on their table.
Such inconsiderate people are everywhere.
Minolta. Konica Minolta. Sony
They all most our FTs.
Cleanse your thoughts, not by the foods you eat.
What's more irritating is that the staff don't chase them away.
errr while i agree its not right that they crowd the area and take advantage of the free wifi, they dun seem to be causing a public disturbance. so why is it irritating for some people?
It's only decent for them to order a drink if they want to use the tables.
Then again, someone with a new account posting this makes it quite suspicious.

Where exactly is the "you know where" because I certainly have no clue what you're talking about
I was at Coffeebean Bishan Junction 8 in Nov last year, lots of students were hogging the tables, one couple even had a stalk of flower in a water bottle on the table as decoration - very comfortable. They even blatantly left coffeebean with all the books on the tables & left for dinner, (I was there for about 30mins - which should had been too long for their toilet breaks)
I asked the staff why they allowed the students to study there the whole day; answer was they were also paying customers. Yeah right, buy one drink, finished halfway so that it could not be cleared away then study whole day, when tired, just surf internet or sleep. What about other paying & dining customers?
For every pair of students, they occupied two tables/four chairs. That's how much turnover they had lost per student couple.
Yes, that is my point from 'you know where'.
Yes, they do not disturb anyone. But those that uses the places and order from starbucks and obrien's and discuss meetings and such and shun the place because of them.
Well done dudes.
I find it strange that the staff are not doing anything? Some don't seem to have bought anything? Or has it already been taken away?
At some places I do see messages from the place not to use the place as a study place, forgot which restaurant, could be Burger King at Peninsula Plaza???
