Warranty for Battery Grips?

Hi, I am wondering whether Canon gives warranty for its battery grips? Can someone enlighten? Thanks!

Doesn't seem to be able to register online, if i recall correctly. But I think if u cn produce the receipt, there should be a 1 year warranty locally...

No electronic components in grips, hence no warranty.

I remember when I bought mine at Cathay, the sales guy mention there isn't one.

1 Year international warranty, need to produce warranty card and receipt. =)

HI,

I believe there's a certain level of warranty although no warranty card was given. Keep the receipts for future claims, just in case.

So far (touch wood) I have not encountered any problems with battery grips

Dont think there is a warranty cards for battery grips.. Bought BG-E2N and BG-E3 from MS colour, both also dont have.. Asked them and they said shop warranty. Just bring back to them with the receipt and they will swop with Canon if anything happen.. But never ask period how long.. Think should be 1 year..

not sure if it applies to the battery grips of today, but a few years back... I had a "warranty" replacement of my battery grip on my old Canon D30. all I did was to produce my receipt, which I had to claw out from some dark corner of the house.

don't quote me on it though.

no warranty for SG? Looks like i got to call up CSC to confirm. I learnt from reputable shops that accessories such as BG has international warranty, unless it is remote control..

i found my BG international warranty card when i bought the BG in tokyo last year.
