Just my 2 cents... If you're the official photog, it would mean quite a bit of freedom of movement. If so... do avoid the mic-in-face shots, it really kills the photos in terms of aesthetic value.

Other than that, well exposed shots you have.

actually its my first time shooting a band gig kinda event...so didn't know of mic-in-face thing...but next time round i'll make it better...thanks for ur comment i appreciate it...thanks alot

You're welcome I like to see colourful shots likes yours of gigs. Although I adopted a diff style for my own gig shots. Heh.

i personally feel that the different styles can be applied on different genre of bands...for e.g this is a youngster band...hip and vibrant therefore i think being bright and flashy will suit them

as for those rock bands and all i would've used a more warmer tint and less saturated colours...and for jazz nothing beats the ol' black and white hahahaha...

but of coz different pple haf different stlye...as long as its pleasing to the eye and the mass likes it..the job can be considered well done i guess

ISO1600 with no noise, very nice. Haha, makes my newly acquired D80 look like mickey mouse cam

D80 is a very good body too...its up to indv to maximise the potential of each cam...i'm sure u'll take great pics with it too...

I'm learning and enjoying the D80 for now but D300 performs great

haha, maybe I'll upgrade later but for now I have other use for my moolas
