not oly user, but i saw hdr title so popped in
don't understand the need for hdr in #3, #5 and #6, actually.. care to share the 0ev value shot? |

Picture #3. I try to show and bring the light to the ceiling. Picture #5 and #6. the background is too dark to bring out details, must be there then you understand the lighting conditions. All shots 1ev value. Hope these helps. ![]()

Doesn't really look like HDR to me... the details in the shadowed areas are still not visible.
Which software did you use, may I ask ? Photoshop CS2/3 ?

HDR = high dynamic range. It's typically done by drawing out details from shots from various exposures as the dynamic range coverage of a sensor isn't always great enough to expose everything properly at once. But frankly, those shots don't really look HDR 'coz of the featureless shadow areas. Were they done from single shots?

Some HDR shot is quite unreal and looks more like 3D images rather than 2D. Read the FAQ here: http://www.hdrsoft.com/
