I've had finally come to a decision to IXUS 860 IS or 960 IS.
But both have given me a real headache cuz 860 has wide angle, 960 don't. 960 has a sensor size of 1/1.7" while 860 has 1/2.5". I jus can't make decision between the 2 main differences. Which is more impt if i prefer btr image quality? |

What do you shoot?
A larger sensor size generally gives you lower digital noise, while the wide angle is also something good. |

Just curious: a large sensor with higher megapix and a smaller sensor with lower megapix, does it end up the same in terms of # of light sensor (dunno the actual term) per unit area?
