Thread: Would you save him?

    Default Would you save him?

I have a moral question for you. This is an imaginary situation,
but I think it is fun to decide what one would do.

The situation: You are in the Middle East, and there is a huge
flood in progress. Many homes have been lost, water supplies
    compromised and structures destroyed.

Let's say that you're a photographer and getting still photos for
a news service, traveling alone, looking for particularly
    poignant scenes.

You come across Osama Bin Laden who has been swept away by the
floodwaters. He is barely hanging on to a tree limb and is about
    to go under.

You can either put down your camera and save him, or take a
Pulitzer Prize winning photograph of him as he loses his grip on
    the limb.

So, here's the question and think carefully before you answer the
    question below:

    Which lens would you use?

(note: saw this joke somewhere else)

Maybe take a slow shutter speed to have the water in flowing effect. Pray that Osama doesn't move too much.

You should save him at all costs. Then set him up, and captured his images when his head is being sliced off.

Actually, USA wants the father as the media always mentioned the name Bin Laden.

There goes another red flag on the NSA computer filter, maybe they need a NSA system analyst to checkout this website.

    next question comes,

    if you're holding a D3, with a 300mm f2.8 lens with 2x teleconvertor...

Will you put it on your right or left?

If I were to be there, I will save him, and then organise a very expensive workshop to do macro photography and extensive use of ring lights as I gut him live. This will also benefit the videographers in CS, since they usually have nothing more than mei mei in little clothes to film... make loads of money, live like playboy and then die in a car bomb assassination attempt.

Oh, and in the process make history in the Japanese sick films industry!
