    Default Australian weather information

    Hello all,

We are having a rather messy time with the weather here at present

Incase anyone is interested to check information here from the Australian Bureau of meteorology here are a few links .....

    Satalite Images and loops ....

    http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/satellite/

Weather watch radar (with loops) ..... (select where)

    http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/radar/

I live on the Island east of Caboolture / west of Cape Moreton / south of Caloundra, called Bribie Island

Presently it is very strong winds and very wet.

    Cheers
Time, is an effortless construction :)

I was just checking The Age for Melbourne based weather, and nearly shat myself when I saw the high temperatures. reminds me of the summer when I was there and it hit 42 in the mercury. and people complain over here when the bulb hits 34 deg. crikey.

at times I would rather it be low in humidity. you don't pespire, and you don't look like you just stepped out of the shower without towelling off. especially so if you pespire easily like me.

on the other hand, on extreme days like 42 deg onwards, you do want to be pespire a bit to prevent the baking sensation on your skin. sorta like sticking your hand in a convention oven when you have to take out the roast. it gets painful.
