Default Photographs slideshow : LCD monitor or LCD TV?

    Hi all!

I'm planning to get a display panel to put in my office to showcase some of my latest works to my clients. I'm thinking whether to get an LCD monitor or LCD TV will be better?

Color/contrast wise is important but not so much of a problem as I can calibrate it to my mac. Viewing distance is around 1.5 - 2m.. It'll also be plugged to a computer to play the slideshow.

Looking at the sizes and prices, I think just limit to anything below 32" and below S$800. (of course i'm not looking at super high-end displays to see all the super minor details, but just to see my style of photography thats all).

Any recommendations and suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    either oso can.

if you get a LCD tv, can get one with HD. If your source is from PC/Mac with a dvi or vga output, just get either one. check the tv specs before buying to match your system, and also check if your system output is able to match the screen resolution.

monitor will be easier, but 800, most likely get a 22" entry level screen.
