Default what is the difference between RC-1 and RC-5 remote controller?

Hi, can 400D use the above? Is it suitable for bulb shooting?

and what is the difference between the 2?

RC1 has both a "no delay" and "2 second delay" feature.
RC5 only has the 2 second delay feature.

Sorry to borrow this thread for another question. It has to do with the 2 sec timer with mirror lockup. I used to take hand held using my Fuji F30 with the 2 sec countdown timer, and as vibrations are minimised without me pressing the shutter button, most of the night pics turn out sharp.
Hope to do this on the 400D as well, and wonder how can I use the mirror lockup function together with the RC-1 or RC-5 to take hand held night pics? Thanks.
