Arrow An evening at City Hall (lots of pics)

First clear blue sky I've seen in weeks, so took the opportunity to go for a shoot around the City Hall area. Aimed to cover as many places in just 2 hours.

    Chijmes

Wasn't able to completely fit in the words as my lens wasn't wide enough. No editing was done to the sky.

Could you tell me whether the chijmes picture is taken with a fish eye ball lens ?

Nope, all shots were taken using a Fuji 602z digital camera. The wall next to the gate is curved thus it looks a bit like a fish eye effect.

    Thanks!

    Good compositions!
Though it was cloudless and beautifully blue, the day was really very hot...

If your lens is not wide enuff, you should find another angle to accomodate your subject. IMO, rather get a good pic than be neither here nor there. No offence.

BTW, the sky's blue colour can be set thru your camera's saturation setting or PS. Cir PL does influence the colour too. Shouldn't be too worry if you edit it or not.

The Steps of the Memorial works for me ... plus the lighting from the setting sun ... interesting angle.

602 cannot set saturation inside the cam.

    Point noted.

I just wanted to show how blue the sky was that day (pretty amazing, considering this month's bad weather), which is why I said it was unedited.
