Lens hood?

Hi all,

i've just lost my Nikon 18-200VR Lens Hood during a friend's wedding.

Can anybody advise me on where i can get a replacement one? Anywhere that sells lens hoods only? 3rd party also can. haha.

Hi there,

Not sure about the diameter of your 18-200VR lens. I assumed that i misplaced my 18-135mm lens hood so i bought the original one from OP. Cost me $35 cos the guy told me that that size is imported. Anyway,if it fits, i can sell you my hood. PM me if u r interested.

I just post this info few min ago at another forum and see your question.

I went to Cathay to look for a len hood for my beercan. I didn't know there is a rubber hood which is cheap and good. The length can be adjusted for different focal length so that no vignetting. Buy one can share among the lens if same filter size.

Share some photos.

For normal range

For short zoom

For longest zoom

man.. i didn't know there were specific lens hoods for Canon lenses. hahaha :P
thanks loads to s2s1 for your input. will take a trip down to CP to check it out. is the rubber hard tho? Cuz im looking for one that will protect the front element as well..

The rubber is not hard. It's enough to protect your len unless you drop your len.
