TCW one should be a grey set at that price.

Local sets are about a little over $1k. I just got mine and still getting the hang of it. Its not sharp wide open, but once you step it down to about F8 and lower say F11 , F13, its really impressive.

Its a really a tricky lens to buy due to the extremely large variations in quality. So it may be prudent to get a local set and have the option of an exchange in case you get a 'lemon'. As online feedback seems to indicate, there are more bad ones than good ones. But the good ones are extremely good, so much so, some of the landscape / architecture guys use it like a prime instead ! As in its almost 99% used at the 12mm end because of its extremely well controlled distortion.

Just got mine a week, but still cannot decide for sure if I got a 'lemon' or not as its not as fantastic as some guys describe to be but yet it seems good enough.
