Hi
been testing my new toy. find that some of the super macro shots are a little bit blur, was wondering if i actually need a tripod for super macro mode. |

Either too slow a shutter speed or you moved.
So tripod correct is needed if you want a confirmed still shot. unless the subject is moving like an ant or soemthing then you need to brighten up the subject and get faster shutter speed instead. Or even in super macro mode the camera cannot focus on the subject which is really too near to the cam.

Yes. Unless you shoot at outdoor with bright Sun light lor.
I always shoot macro shot together with my FL-40(bounce upward) without tripot. Cos With External flash i can afford to use higher shuttle speed like 1/100 or more. ![]() |

even if you think your hands are steady, they tend to move with your breathing, so best to use tripod ... or at least support the hand holding the cam against something fixed & stationary. at least that's what i do
