Does anybody know of local sources for the Gadget Infinity radio triggers and the Vivitar 285HV flashes? I'm looking at doing a bit of Strobist type work. (see http://strobist.blogspot.com) Thanks
![]() I can order over the Net, no problem, but it's nearing Christmas and packages tend to get lost in the mail around this time, or they take forever to arrive. |

Cactus triggers etc can be got from PQ23 (Paul, Tagotech) here on CS. Prices are slightly higher then on the net, but hey, everyone has to make a living, PLUS he's in SG and deliveries usually takes 2-3 days via mail, and is an absolutely great guy to deal with - many CSers will testify to his after-sales service and honesty.

Thanks!
I'll definitely check it out. Agreed that having a local dealer is worth it for the support, even if prices are a bit higher. Besides, you don't have to deal with international shipping which adds to your cost and hassle. Local mail is very reliable. |
