for 2s only? Is this normal, as compared to the mirror lock-up function in the Nikon and Canon cameras? Does this mean doing exposures of more than 2s will have the mirror crashing down anyway to create vibrations?

I'm assuming the Dynax 7 works the same way as Dynax 9...
With the 2 secs mirror lock-up, when u press the button to take a shot (regardless of shutter speed), the mirror will flap up first and after 2 secs, the shutter door will open and exposure the frame according to the metered reading. |
