Default Large format queries

Hello all,

Is there anywhere in SG that sells Graphic cameras, more specifically a Century or a Pacemaker Graphic? I'm looking for the 2x3 version, but 4x5 versions are alright as well.

Thanks a bunch.

Samuel

Try Ron's Camera at Adelphi. Used to see one there.

My father used these cameras when he was a press photographer, with the Malayan Tiger Standard. So I started my own collection, but I bought my cameras from eBay. If you are unable to find one, send a PM to me and I will put you in touch with someone who might be able to assist. All of my purchases were made when I was in the UK, because they tend to be rare in Singapore. I have seen some ClubSnap members who have the cameras so perhaps someone might be willing to sell you one.

The Pacemaker 5x4 has a focal plane shutter. The Century Graphic, is a miniature version of the Crown, so it does not have the focal plane shutter. The roll film backs RH8 are also available on eBay, and with these, both 2x3 and 5x4 can still be used with 120 film.

Best wishes,
Keith

I have the Graphic 2x3 version in my collection. Includes Zeiss lens and rollfilm magazine, film holder. This is a cute smaller brother of the 4x5 version. What is your budget ? I will sell if the price is right.

Forget about Century or a Pacemaker Graphic, get a Super or Super speed Graphic. Earlier 2 just don't have enough movement, Super are fantastic. Also Super has rotating back but not in Century and Pacemaker. Super although more expensive but really worth it. The fun of using it made me get a much more expensive Wista RF45, very inpulsive act!! But was a very happy but broke man for a while! Hehe!
