Made in japan or Malaysia??

Just came back from fujifilm service centre, bought a S5 pro charger. The sticker outside the plastic bag shows the parts number, Parts Name, bar code and a big MADE IN JAPAN, but the charger itself print MADE IN MALAYSIA.

So its made in where??

Maybe plastic bag and sticker made in japan, content made in malaysia.

Why not u call fujifilm and ask? They will be in a much better position to tell you that.

haha, i know its just a charger, even its made in china, south africa i will still take it, just that i think fujifilm should not have put made in japan in the front packing while item are made in Malaysia.

when doing purchase, i noticed it, i ask the girl is it made in japan, she say yes, but when i showed her is made in Malaysia, she just puzzled ... Seems fujifilm staffs didn't know well too.

Made in Japan or made in Malaysia, if something goes wrong, it is still serviced in Singapore ............... if bought in Singapore .

No matter where the products is assembled, they are all under Fujifilm brand, which is a Made In Japan brand.
