Default Mirocsync radio trigger

Hi anyone can advice me,
I'm interested in getting a set of Mircosync radio trigger.
My Useage is mainly for of human portraits in studio. Don think will be doing facy dances or fast movements.

My question is will the sync speed be good enuff as its sated in the website as follows
focal plane: 1/180 sec
leaf shutter: 1/350 sec
http://www.microsyncdigital.com

Will this trigger be deemed 'illegal' to use in Sinagpore law like the Pocket wizards? from my understanding, Microsync is using Frequency 433 MHz which is also the same as either the USA or UK model for Pocket Wizards. Budget is the primary reason for not getting a PW, and the Mircosync, they are appeal to me in the appearance. But will they work as good as the skyports (Elinchrom) in terms of consistency? Skyport and Microsync is abt the same price, infact slightly cheaper for the latter.

Anyone with experience with Mircosync would like to pen his input on the product?
I did a google on reviews and its pretty limited.
Any dealer in SIngapore who sells these?

TIA and merry Xmas!
T.D.
