Hmm so wonder how affected Singapore will be with global warming... is it going to sink like the Maldives? heh.
few weeks ago, i was late for work. when alighted from bus opp company gate, kena caught in thunderstorm. was stuck at bus stop for at least 20 mins... the rain, wind was so heavy, can't see very far. then lightning struck like no one's biz... then thunder was like someone pounding hammer on bus stop roof. it sounds very exaggerating, but if any of u were there, u wun say dat liao. i usu like rain, but dat was a rain which i feared & hated. standing in any corner under the bus stop, wif a huge tree as my 靠山 , i still got drenched thru & thru... finally, when rain started to ease off a bit, i ran into company machiam someone wif machine gun behind me... once i got under shelter, the raindrops pelted even harder... scariest rain i ever saw in s''pore
Was at Dhobi Ghaut MRT, with my folding bike. I thought I could pedal faster than the drizzle, anyway it was just fine drizzle. As I crossed the road (cycling) to Cathay, the rain drop got bigger and more intense. Damn, got wet and when I reached Sunshine Plaza that is like 3 minutes cycling only, the rain stopped. Damn.
