Default Fishing

The guy in centre walked away and left his rod there, but I guess that adds to the picture.

Personally I prefer B&W version. With the color version, my eyes have the tendency to be distracted to colorful objects like the yellow plastic bag on the left and the red one in the middle, etc.

yeah b/w works better for me

but the contrast between the sky and the sea is very little. i guess it's always like that in b/w?

Is it me or the sides of the picture appears to be rather soft

The sides are indeed soft.

I was using Leica's Ultimate Street Camera.

I think color looks better. It makes every person standing there unique to the other. BW seem to make them 'the same'.

The colour version works better. The space leading to the fishermen makes the picture. Its rain-washed surface looks better in colour (I would actually compose bottom 2/3 as the surface instead), so too does the sky at the background, which in BW, merge flat with the foreground.

Good stuff Streetshooter, love the cam, you are a riot!! you are also the one who took apart his Coolpix?
