Thread: Metz 45 CT5 on Canon 1Ds

    Default Metz 45 CT5 on Canon 1Ds

Got my old faithful gun. Been not willing to let it go and now is not worth the trouble of selling.

There is a thread on this but for Nikon body. Is it the same for Canon?

This model is no longer in production i think. Don't seem to be able to find info in Metz website.

using wif my s5pro..similar to D200 body..simply plug it to the sync port on the body..but i think the sensor on my set got some problems..sometimes accurate, sometime over..never under b4..heehee..powerful flash..love it on the film body last time..

Yet to try. Yes it is a powerful flash. Seldom see phogographer using gun nowadays! Would be fun to use an old gun with new body!

ah, its a good and powerful flash. I own the 60ct4. I find it more trusty than my nikon sb800 in many cases.

That's why have been 'cold storage' it and can't let go. 2nd market price is like dirt!

Will try it out and revise my judgement instead of leaving it to TTL!

.... for those who used manual SLR before, you know what i meant!
