Lost UZI!

I left my uzi on a cab! Happened on mother's day. So if anyone seen a blue tamron bag with a uzi inside pls contact me.

I miss it dearly already~

got try calling the cab center?

Last time my hp drop, luckily I was going to claim the cab fees so got a receipt with the cab number..

Me too, lost me wallet inside. Call the taxi company's booking hotline and was re-directed to their customer service.

They contacted the driver via mobile phone and got the driver to call me at my mobile.

Then arrange with the driver to meet up after his passenger drop off.

Did not want him to travel "free" from the drop-off point to meeting me, since it's unfair to him and it's my fault. So I told him to turn on his meter after his passenger alight and I pay for the journey from there to meet me.

Paid him $20. Actually there wasn't much cash inside

Just thankful that I did not have to pay $100 to replace my NRIC and the other cards inside, too much hassle.
(he could have said he did not see it, take the money and junk my wallet. Lucky he was honest)

yah almost lost my hp too lucky i got a reciept and have the taxi's license plate no.
so the moral of the story is....
always get a reciept when u take the taxi whether u need it or not?

Thanks for your concern guys, Contacted the cab lost and found dept, no news yet.

I bought alot of stuff that day cos mother's day, the seat was filled up so i left the cam bag on the floor....when i alighted i looked back to see if i left anything behind, it was very dark and i couldnt see it on the floor.
Sigh~Now am eating the most expensive moter's day cake in the world .
