Default Lowepro Bag Dilemma

Ive got a Nikon D40, the kit lens, a 55-200mm VR and a Sigma 150mm f/2.8 Macro. I was thinking of buying a camera bag for these lenses and an SB600 Flash.

Any pros and cons about the Slingshot?

Bring your gear down to TK foto and try out their bags. I can recomend you the Stealth Reporter 400. that bag is not bad. or the newer backpacks that opens on the sides.

slingshot 200 is probably too big for your current needs..

nova3, rezo series are probably the best bang for buck in terms of value..

the sling shot might be a tight fit as the 150mm is not that small. not to mention the SB600 flash, batts, blowers and what nots. best to plan with enough to fit another lens.

Thanks for the replies. We'll I'd prefer NOT to get a backpacks cause theyre rather chunky and stuff, a bit dorky (then again..)

I love the orion cause its got space for the camera stuff and for some room on the top for bottles, or medication, etc.

I think the slingshot is abit big but im not going to stop buying lenses here. But i dont like the way its slung round to be opened. Feels rather awkward.

I like little 'sling bags' like the Nova, or rezo, theyre pretty cheap and stuff.

I see myself having a Stealth Reported rather than a backpack, but i love the extra room to pack in stuff. Of course I'd just be adding a bottle and asthma medication, which wont be much. I honestly have no idea what i want (sorry). The Orion is the only backpack i like.

The only lens im afraid wont fit is the 150mm. Blowers and such wont be necessary cause my aunt has them where im going.

At 30cm the Orion isnt a huge backpack either.

That should be able to hold the 150mm macro, D40, 18-55,55-200, cables and charger, Sb600 and memory cards with ease right? I guess later on when i get more lenses some of the others i wont use as much anyway.

Ive lowered it down to Orion Trekker and Stealth Reporter D300 AW.

Im the kind of person who runs around a lot and stuff, but this wont matter will it?

400 would be a better choice, you might find the 300 a bit cramp. Best you go with your gear to try.

Those bags look great, especially the Tamrac. i think its a good idea to look into other bag brands too i guess. The pricing is just about right too. It didnt mess it up. Thanks a lot!

yeah I agree the 300 maybe a little too small, with just a little extra to pay the 400 would be better, now im looking into other bags too ^ (said above)

Thanks for the help!
