    Default buying lenses from Japan

    Hi guys,

Would like to find out if we were to buy lenses from Japan, would we be able to send the lenses to the service centre here should anything crop up? Quite confused about the international warranty and local warranty difference.

Coz it seems that 'grey sets' are usually covered under "International warranty" but seems that you still need to pay them for servicing if anything happens?

    Thanks for any advice...

I guess the Itnl warranty acts like a warranty everywhere. Np in S'pore.
