What type of pictures for product reviews?
Well, I have no idea if this is the right place to talk about this, but I need help. What kind of photos are usually used in a review of a certain product? I've been looking around and it's a mix of "white background" and "real time usage background" shots of products. Which is the preferred type and does the type of product matter?
What if I'm reviewing a MP3 player, or some high tech kettle? Would using the same style of shots work for both products? (eg. white background)

Re: What type of pictures for product reviews?
where will the pictures be?
what is the layout?
what is the background colour?
best is to let the designer decide
or just shoot it with a white bg for the image to be edge out
