You will require Fujifilm HyperUtility software. The latest version is HS-V3 version 3.0.1.10.

Nope... the cable should comes with your camera, not the software. Same goes to Nikon Camera Control Pro.

Otherwise, you can always buy a USB or Firewire cable from Sim Lim Square.

Just imagine a laptop (or desktop) connected to the camera via a cable. The cable will be quite long (about say 1.5m?) so that the photographer can move about with the camera. The image will appear on the computer screen once the shot is taken. That's tethered shooting.

Hope you can "picture" what it means...
or you are asking for something more in depth...

You have to take the pic b4 the pic will appear on the screen. I believe it is very diff from the Live View.
I find it useful when u have the space and room to work with. The use of bigger screen to see things is useful, as the display on the camera is small.

Live View is very different from tethered shooting. However Fuji S5 Pro allows you to do Live View while connected to a computer installed with HS-V3.

Tethered shooting is meant for working in a studio mainly, although you can still shoot tethered outdoors.
