Me want to be a director too!! But....weak at directing actors and only can operate camera hahaha. Anyway i would hope the dream will come true one day for those who wants to be a full time film maker someday.

I graduated from the International Academy of Film and Television a few months back and moved back home to Italy. I currently work for a tv network but directing is my passion, talent, and aspiration. I'm currently in talks with some local producers here who are interested in working on a project that i have in mind. Oh yes, I've always been interested in stage productions and film productions. Was tempted to go for the 2 day film workshop when it was in town but I did not have the time and it was... pricey since I never felt that I would have the chance to participate in any form of film production.....

Sometimes you have to make your own chances silverelf. If you want to do it, get in touch with people who are already doing it and get involved. If you wait for someone to come knocking at your door offering you opportunities it will never happen. Not knocking you, just trying to offer advice.

hi everyone, im new here. interested in craeting stories and filiming it down, but i've got no idea where to start. but before that, is that necessary to be good in photography before proceeding to filmmaking? orr, are they the same thing?
