Unable to synchronize 6500FD to PC

Hi guys, just got my camera yesterday, havent got a memory card yet, but taken photographs using its internal memory.

installed the cd software cd which came along with the cam
separately downloaded a single usb driver from fuji's website itself.

both of this methods did not work for me.
yes i had tried reinstalling.

anyone has encountered this problem before?
i tried to search online but couldnt find much clue..

What is your PC Operating system?
If XP/Vista no need to download seperate driver for USB.

Try this:
Uninstall the software, reboot/restart PC and after that reinstall the software again.

DO NOT plug in the camera to the cable until the software tells you to do so, otherwise, the software is not able to detect the cam.

Sorry, I don't quite understand the question "Unable to synchronize 6500FD to PC".
Meaning cannot control the camera by PC? S6500 has no such function.
Or is it that your camera's photo cannot be transfer to PC via USB connection? Normally, the camera should be able to auto-detect by XP & Vista. Try removing some other connected USB devices. If still cannot, try on other PC.
