S8000FD qns: Fine VS Normal quality mode

Any pros can advise if there's really any significant difference btw the two modes?

i'm a new user of S8000FD, prior to that no experience in anything >300bucks digicam...

when i take same scenes and zoomed in.. no significant differences leh. however, the mb space is 2:1... so i need advise if is shld save memory space or spurge it on quality...
