Default Nameste from Nepal

Made a last minute decision to fly to Nepal for a trekking trip. It turned out to be a both a photography and workout trip instead. Just not fun to sling a 2.5kg tripod over the shoulder while climbing one mountain after another. But here it is some images to share from the friendly country. Not to mention the heart leaping paragliding.

With this trip, I gained 4 friends but lost one in the freaky Cambodia incident. But I guess it only makes one cherish what he has more.

Figures first

For a lost friend in Cambodia, in fond memories

sad to hear the incident.

anyway, your #2 to #5 is really solid in terms of composition and tones. the slightly desaturated colors works well, although i'm not sure if the original could be just as good. #1 seems to be the odd one out. the colors in the top is great, but appears too saturated in the bottom.

too complex for me to understand.

but anyway, it is very much better than the taiwanese shots in terms of exposure. in terms of ambience though, i still like the taiwanese shots, like the one by the waterfall.

dun be. at least i know he had lived a fufilled life.

nevertheless anyone keen on going on a trekking trip to Nepal may wish to try Mountain Monarch. I have with me several booklets to share on the various types of trekking trips they offer. The director Pradip is a very nice guy! Jus tell him what u want and he will wave his magic wane .

love the series...

i noticed for your streets and portraits shots, those with eye contacts, except #3, score exceptionally well for me... probably i like depictions of travel photos with 人情味 (humanity) (hope is a suitable translation ) colour treatment suits either feel though...

nice.. thanks..
