Glacier trekking ehhh ... it does look easy from the pic or where you were standing but in actual fact, from my experience, it could be rather tricky. Or is it not?

It seems rather dark for the first 2 pics and pic 3 appeared to be taken using another camera (a compact?).

I quite like pic 2 myself and if it could be a little brighter... this is personal taste as your original has its merit too.

Lovely place you had been...

Yeah it was abt 1.5 hrs hiking to get up to the side of the terminal face. At some pt of the climb we were abt 200m drop and we are standing on this little ledge.

There is where the 1st shot was takem. Actually you are right the shots are taken with 2 cameras. Shot 1 n 2 are with a Eos 3 , sigma 20mm f.18 with provia 100. I guess slides don't do very well in gloomy weather. The last shot was taken with a Canon G1. Coz the climb down was pretty tricky its hard holding on to a Eos 3 with PB.

But given the chance I will do it again.. was really an experience what I would hope for was a clearer weather.

Default Cool

Was up on the glacier on HeliHike. Freezing siah. The snow does give a false sense of distance, not to mention the 6kg boots we have to wear. Quite an experience though. I still remember I was posing by this ice cave when minutes later it just collapsed!

Cool place to revisit.
