Hi, took this on a cloudy day at a lovely old church in the middle of town, like some C&C on it, about the composition, if the conversion to BW is ok and whether it is in focus. Thanks. Nikon D40x f5.6/ 1/25

If you only want to show the Cherubim, a tighter crop will be better, the background is redundant. Crop to show only the grill background with rule of third should improve the pic....I would add a bit more contrast.

tighter crop around the statue
more dof if you could get up higher better, the ledge is blocking or could try a more frontal view not much to be said abt ur conversion, not much tones in the pic |
