co's I been hearing people said CF too big not very safe, try to split 2 or 3 pic better than buy one..
its not that CF card size too big not very safe. but **** happen even to well known brand of CF card.

No one can promise u any particular brand wont have such problem.

Its just that if it happen, u only lost (EG) 4gig of stuff rather than 8gig and above.

lexar have a batch which have problem (think 2 or 3 year back batch)

mine no problem until now... a friend of mine have the same 1, happen so at an event shoot his memory got wiped out. can't even read in reader anymore... lexar gave him a replacement. well, too bad for the stuff inside. lucky just some test shots.

My CF card went into washing with my laundry............surprisingly it works. Just needed to let it dry for 1 day as the pin may still have some moisture.

Best is always to do a immediate back-up if you have time. When I go for my overseas assignments for event shooting, I always bring a laptop with me. As sometimes, during the event half way thru, it's good to change or check your card to make sure all the images are in the card and unload it when you have the chance.
