Default Problems with AF Light assist for D300

Hi all,

Just bought the D300 and encountered this problem.

After I off the AF light Assist and On it again, the AF light doesn't seem to be working.

Even putting an SB800 on it, the SB800's AF light also don't work.

Reseting the cam doesn't produce anything.

Any advice?
