i think only starhub and singtel gives you totally no cap unlimited transfers.

starhub is cheaper at $72, but there are various promos out there that gives you 1/2 price for a 2 year contract. meaning it's only 30 dollars for unlimited 3G/3.5G data package.

The issue is singnet is well known to not bother with protecting consumer privacy...i dunnoe about you but i sure as heck wouldn't sign up with them even if they offered me cash!

ya, you need the starhub Maxmobile service or Singnet's Broadband on Mobile service.

but keep in mind that all of these services are running on 3G/3.5G, you wont get anywhere near the advertised speed outside town areas.

and in MRTs or most underground blind spots, you'll fall back to 2.5G GPRS networks. max GPRS transfer speed only hit 50kbps, which, is like dial up speeds at most...

before you subscribe, i'll recommend you to bring a 3G phone around the areas you frequent, and check for 3G coverage.

my room at the spot i'm sitting with my PC just doesn't have any 3G network. =(

Might as well sign a one year plan and buy the iPod Touch on its own. Won't get locked in

Let me rant abit on Singtel's ridiculous policies.

I find it absurd that regular customers do not have access to a 24-hour tech support helpdesk. Apparently it only operates between 8am and 12mn.

The 24H service is only available to Biz plan customers.

    Ridiculous.
