CF II card for 400d

What is the biggest size of CF II card that the 400d can use?
4gb?? 8gb??
4gb can take up to about 1000 shots if in the highest resolution mode?

2GB for CF II can take around 180-190 RAW pics...
400D can take in 8GB...

wow raw pictures? size is so big. how about taking in the best resolution and in fine mode and not raw?

I am using Sony Alpha 100, one RAW takes about 10MB. My 1GB CF card can hold about 100 shots.

8GB for Ultra II or Extreme III can be used on 400D.

What i meant is for large(fine) which is about 3.8mb for each photo right? So if i use a 4gb CF card i can take up to about 1000 photos right?

about 1000.

I'm using 8GB Ultra II on my 400D, works fine.
That works out to about 800 RAW pics.
Have not tried any 16GB cards yet.
