I have a set exactly like that. Danged, I bought mine used for $30! But it was in immaculate condition.

Comments ah? Fairly well made. The threads are fine and screws / locks tightly.

It basically does what it is supposed to do.

Great way to get into extreme close-ups for a very affordable price. Everything's manual though, so users might face great inconvenience with AF lenses, unless you have an easy way to open up and stop down the apeture. Much better suited to manual lenses.

Quality of results depend largely on operator understanding/skills and the lens you choose to put on the tubes.

Only downside to me is that the No. 1 tube which is the shortest one - is waay too long, limiting your working range, but hey, it's only 30 bucks!

None. I used it on my manual Zuiko OM lenses.

Are there electrical contacts to maintain the body to lens connection? Doesn't look like there are. If it doesn't have that it would mean you have no control over the aperture since Canon EF lenses have aperture blades that are electronically controlled.

These are just basically third party extension tubes without the electrical contacts. I rather get the Kenko or the Canon ones.

Cheers,
