    Default Monopod.... useful?

    Hi all,

I was just wondering how useful is a monopod when you still need to use your hands to support it. I will still move a bit due the unsteady hands.

    Anyone can advice?

Even a tripod may not be PERFECTLY stable... They are just an aid... Maybe the following will help...

Monopod works well when using long lenses like those of 200mm and above. I used to shoot sporting events (soccer, rugby and F1 races). in such situation, a monopod is very useful. However, using a monopod does not mean that your hands can be jittery.
