Hi guys, since the announcement of the above lens, is there anymore news about this lens? If you are interested, you can read here.
Saw the price and converted to be about S$1100, then street price may be $900 +-..... ![]()

Yah, if only its 11-18....but f2.8 is great, especially for indoor shots. ![]()

seems quite a weird lens. probably as metallian said to complement the 16-50mm.
but at $1100, it's quite a high price. i'd rather go for original canon 10-22. more range, but slower aperture is not really a problem for a UWA lens. |

With such a short zoom range I wonder why they didn't just make it a 10 or 11mm prime instead.. That would have been cheaper, smaller and possibly better optically.

Tokina doesn't have a 50-150. They have a 50-135.
